Black and white is one of the most elegant and timeless pairings in the world of fashion. If, like me, you love this classic combination of colours, don’t forget to add some extra touches which will make you stand out from the crowd. I opted for original accessories – big, coloured earrings and black pantyhose with knee-high ‘belts’. I am curious as to what you think of this unusual design, which looks very much like that of a compression band. Would you like to see them feature on my blog more often?
We’ve had a few windy, cloudy days. I’ve been in the mood for boots and miniskirts…for me, that is such a go-to outfit formula and beloved look. It’s a look I love because it’s flirty and a bit sassy. I remember when I was first dating Jeff I wore a lot of skirts/boots outfits. Combat boots with tweed a-line minis, python ankle boots with ruched floral miniskirts come to mind when I remember some of those looks. I think it’s a good look for first dates, or any time! I wear this combination all of the time, especially with these super cute Marsell boots.
today an outfit with dots and glitter. As you may know I’m crazy glitter. The outfit today wearing a super cute skirt of Nümph. It’s a black skirt with bronze glitter.
The skirt is brand Nümph and tights from Conte . The blouse and pumps are from Primark. Previously I found pumps with a pointed nose, very old-fashioned. Today I love it and I’m just very nice! The tights have small dots, this matches the back of blouse. I absolutely love my new skirt and pantyhose. They are also super nice in combination with each other.
So finally now I have had my laser sessions complete, I can get back into my nude sheers once again (seeing as I have quite a few to get through!) I saw this pair and I just had to get them. I thought they were dead funky and easy enough to pair with an outfit!
So I went monochrome (I need to stop doing this) – although it is getting quite cold here so I suppose it won’t hurt this time around! You can easily go symmetrical or into those mathy-prints I like to call them but I thought I would tone it down and make it work with an office outfit instead. I went with my fluffy jumper, leather-look skirt and a statement necklace to add that extra to it.

So packaging – very basic. Shows the design on the front and back with a small blurb about them and a peep hole in the corner so you can see what’s inside. They are neatly wrapped so no problems there.
When you get them out, you may notice that the nylons look longer than your legs (I’m targeting shorties here!) but don’t worry!! They aren’t that bad when they are on! I was a little worried that they were going to be too long for me, but I found that wasn’t the case when I got them on.
At first I thought I would not need to pull them up slightly but I did have to readjust a few times to make sure that I had it even on the legs. I hate it when one bit of my leg has more nylon covering it than the rest.
These are also fine over anklets too – although be careful with those that might catch the tights! You don’t want to snag these within the first few minutes of getting them on!
I love the band on these; they fit so lovely that you don’t even feel it on your stomach/waistline and the best part is that they stay in place all day too!
Now the design – these are something else! And I am so glad that they’re a piece I have never seen before as it makes it more exciting to blog about! I am not too keen on the denier as it does make your legs look whiter than normal so the colour doesn’t do the legs any justice (unless you’re after a colour change!) but the pattern is just popping!!!! I do have to mention that there are some that have a border standing out around it (see some of the close-ups below) which is quite annoying but then again these are cheap so I shouldn’t complain!
The print is 3D-like so you will feel it when you rub your hands over them, which I suppose helps make them stand out.
These don’t have reinforced toes I’m afraid so those long toenails may need to be trimmed and smoothed down before stepping into these!
Another little thing to mention is that it does leave marks on your legs when you take them off! See the last picture!!
The only downside to these is that they are one sized – I had no trouble with them at all, however if you are slightly bigger, then I may suggest trying to get an alternative. I think these do look amazing but you will need slimmer legs to keep that design intact as it would stretch and lose the whole look of them.
I really do like these and I think they’re worth buying if you’re looking for different and versatile. I would mainly dress these casually but I always find it fun trying to make it work with a smart outfit. They’re not badly priced, and if you love nude sheers with bold prints, then these are the ones for you!!
I know that you’re also probably complaining about the cold weather, unless you’re from Australia and then you think December is the warmest month ever. When it’s this cold I just hate having my feet cold and as much as I like wearing heels I usually give up wearing them day by day during this season. But not any more because I now have the warmest ankle boots that are also comfortable and super chic. I have found them at Anna Cori at an affordable price and they even have this model without the metal buck if you like them simple. I also got this Anna Cori quilted bag that completes any look, whether it is casual or more elegant like the one I am wearing here. Their online shop has free shipping for products worth over 100 euros, but you can also try them on, in Romania in their multiple stores around the country.
If you were wondering how did I achieve this cool wet hair look, it is super simple and it implies some transparent shower gel from the hotel, a brush and some hair spray, nothing easier. 😛 See the rest of the items I’m wearing here, listed at the end of the post and let me know if you already know what you’ll wear on NYE, cuz this might be a good option.

How was your weekend? I actually had quite a lot of stuff to do. But me and my boyfriend decided to take Saturday off to have some quality time together, and do all our to-do stuff on Sunday. So, that was actually really nice! Usually, we do quality time and to-do things all mixed up during the weekend. Which leaves you feeling like you didn’t really have a day off at all. And this way we did! In this outfit post, I’m wearing my backpack for a change. I actually use this backpack really often, but it hardly ever appears on my blog. That’s because I mostly use it to do groceries, and that’s not exactly an occasion on which I bring my camera to snap some outfit photos, haha! But I figured it was time to show it again, because it’s not only practical, but also really pretty! I was wearing a total black and white outfit. Personally, I think it looks really great with the green background of the botanical garden. And like you’re used to from me when I’m wearing a black and white combo, I’m wearing a ton of different prints! What do you think? 🙂

For colder days a nice, trendy and warm choice is to use capes. They give you this amazing look and they can be very stylish. For my outfit today I chose this one from Tommy x Gigi collection. I love this piece as it was one of my absolute favourites from the collection. It’s perfect for the season and when you combine it with cool accessories, like the cap and the boots from the same collection, it’s so nice. I also added those fishnets from Sneaky fox, they give a cool look with a rocker attitude. Love the result!
