It feels so great to be pulling out lighter colours from my closet! I’ve been stuck in a dark colour palette for the winter with the occasional pop of colour. With the warm weather approaching I am startling to pull lighter colours here and there. I’ve been obsessed with this pink fur coat since I bought it, its a statement piece without being too overpowering. I paired it with a white ribbed shirt that has a bit of a ruffle on the neck and plain black high waisted shorts. I also wore polka dot fishnet tights which i’ve been loving lately ! Fishnets have been all over the place lately and I think they are so much fun and can work well with so many outfits ! To top the look off I wore a black cabby hat with braids which is something I’ve been wearing a lot since the start of the fall. This was the perfect outfit to go out and get milkshakes, if you want to see more day to day pictures make sure you follow me on instagram 🙂
If anything distinguishes the month of May is undoubtedly the large number of social events that we usually have. Weddings, communions, birthdays, graduations, etc. Occupy our journal.
And of course, we want to look beautiful, elegant, stylish … What do I wear !! ? Far from it, you have to wear your favorite sleep dress, silk and lace, just at home. For a dinner or night out is a safe bet. Here I show you my outfit for this events. Simple yet stylish, a miniskirt lined metallized and pantyhose stockings. You need more ??

Once again I was wearing an all-black outfit, but this time it’s not a casual outfit I would wear on a daily basis. It’s a casual chic outfit. Casual because of the cosy sweater I was wearing and chic, because of the skirts, boots and fishnet tights, as well as my Gucci bag, add a chic touch to this all black outfit. It’s an outfit I would wear to a meeting or another important appointment.
I would also wear it for a night out or when having a date. You can wear it to a lot of different occasions, events with a chic dress code.
The key pieces of this outfit are definitely the black skirt and the fishnet tights. The tights are part of the Caro Daur for Calzedonia collection. I was looking for a fishnet tight like this quite a while and had to buy it when I saw it at the Calzedonia store in Cologne. I have another pair of fishnet tights, you’ve seen a couple of times before, but it’s just the net, and it barely keeps me warm. Right now it’s too cold to wear it with only a skirt or dress, but I will probably wear this other pair of fishnet tights more often as soon as it’s warmer outside. This pair of fishnet tights works very well right now because it keeps me at least a little bit warm and looks pretty nice at the same time. 🙂 It also works very well with the skirt, don’t you think? I can’t wait to wear it more often and to combine the tights with the other skirts I have in my closet! I also can’t wait to wear the skirt more often. Next time I will probably combine it with a white shirt or with a basic t-shirt when it’s warm enough. I’m also thinking about the combination with a band tee or something similar. What do you think about my casual chic all black outfit? And how would you combine this skirt?
We’ve had a few windy, cloudy days. I’ve been in the mood for boots and miniskirts…for me, that is such a go-to outfit formula and beloved look. It’s a look I love because it’s flirty and a bit sassy. I remember when I was first dating Jeff I wore a lot of skirts/boots outfits. Combat boots with tweed a-line minis, python ankle boots with ruched floral miniskirts come to mind when I remember some of those looks. I think it’s a good look for first dates, or any time! I wear this combination all of the time, especially with these super cute Marsell boots.
I know that you’re also probably complaining about the cold weather, unless you’re from Australia and then you think December is the warmest month ever. When it’s this cold I just hate having my feet cold and as much as I like wearing heels I usually give up wearing them day by day during this season. But not any more because I now have the warmest ankle boots that are also comfortable and super chic. I have found them at Anna Cori at an affordable price and they even have this model without the metal buck if you like them simple. I also got this Anna Cori quilted bag that completes any look, whether it is casual or more elegant like the one I am wearing here. Their online shop has free shipping for products worth over 100 euros, but you can also try them on, in Romania in their multiple stores around the country.
If you were wondering how did I achieve this cool wet hair look, it is super simple and it implies some transparent shower gel from the hotel, a brush and some hair spray, nothing easier. 😛 See the rest of the items I’m wearing here, listed at the end of the post and let me know if you already know what you’ll wear on NYE, cuz this might be a good option.

For colder days a nice, trendy and warm choice is to use capes. They give you this amazing look and they can be very stylish. For my outfit today I chose this one from Tommy x Gigi collection. I love this piece as it was one of my absolute favourites from the collection. It’s perfect for the season and when you combine it with cool accessories, like the cap and the boots from the same collection, it’s so nice. I also added those fishnets from Sneaky fox, they give a cool look with a rocker attitude. Love the result!
