It’s only a few weeks until Valentine’s Day… I wonder how many of you will celebrate the special day of love and, indeed, how you will celebrate. Personally, I think that people should show their feelings to their loved ones every day, but special romantic gestures and are always a lovely surprise – regardless of whether you decide to do it on February 14 or on a completely different day 🙂 Thanks to the elegant Italia restaurant in Poznan, I was able to get an early taste of a menu set especially for lovers. The beautiful interior of this charming restaurant was simply begging to be captured on camera for posterity, so during the evening I took plenty of pictures. And the first thing to capture my attention and make a big impression on me was the dining table, which was beautifully decorated with romantic and delicate rose petals 🙂 I was then both surprised and delighted by the individually selected and personalised menu, which offered a variety of sumptuous and tempting dishes, many of which were new to me. I opted for a starter of breaded egg plant, velvety boletus cream, fluffy brûlée cream, and a delicate frozen dessert with fruit and chocolate. I pride myself on having refined taste when it comes to dining out, so it’s invariably difficult to really impress me when it comes to culinary matters. Happily, with every dish and every course prepared with love and attention to even the tiniest detail, the dinner proved to be a real Italian feast for the senses! The dishes resembled small works of art and tasted divine. And the attentive staff made sure that my visit was a particularly pleasant one, leaving me in no doubt that this is one of the culinary gems in Poznań to which I will happily return.
Today I wanted to show you a special look, and that is because I fell in love with this dress since they sent it to me from the shop Chicuu. It is very flattering, since it adapts very well to the shape of the body with the corset on the front part. Although is winter and I was a little cold just with the dress, I tried to show you without the coat, but I actually combined it with a long black coat, which gives a formal and goth vibes to the look. The choker necklace is also from Chicuu.
Hope you like my first look of the week. I leave you the links to all the clothes below. Thanks for visit!
Hi everyone, welcome back! I’m really excited about today’s outfit because the entire thing cost me less than $100 (save for the necklace and earrings, which were gifts from B and my sister, respectively). I’ve always believed that anyone can slap on some high end labels, but truly stylish people can make things from any price point work for them, so I was pretty unabashedly proud when I realized how budget friendly this outfit was. My heels are a couple years old, but I found them at Target, which amazes everyone who asks me where I got them. My dress was a clearance find from LOFT, and this belt is a knock off from Amazon for only $15!Outfit Details – Dress: LOFT (sold out, but I found some similar ones at higher price points here, here, here) | Tights: J.Crew Factory | Heels: Adam Lippes for Target | Tights: J.Crew Factory | Earrings: Coach | Belt: Amazon | Necklace: Elizabeth & James | Lipstick: YSL 70 ‘Le Nu’ | Lipgloss: NARS ‘Chelsea Girls’ | Nail Polish: OPI ‘Aurora Berry-Alis’ |

Black and red is the most popular colour combination you will find on my blog. I put together this photoshoot, comprising turtleneck mini-dress, plain pantyhose and elegant, glossy heels a few months ago – in mid-October. Many of you will doubtless have seen some of the pictures on Instagram, the rest – including zooming in on the finer details – you will find here. Meanwhile, many of you have asked when I will be treating you to some more of my favourite music. Well, in this post you will find another dozen or so memorable songs. I wonder which ones you will like most. In the meantime, if you know any tracks of a similar nature that you think I may like, then go ahead and send them to me on e-mail or leave a comment.
Hello new jumper of dreams I simply can’t get enough of. It’s all about new knitwear for me at the moment, I’ve been loving filling my wardrobe with various different knits to keep me going throughout the cold spell. As much as I love wearing the fail-safe combo of a jumper and jeans, I must admit it’s starting to get a little boring! This has led to me buying countless jumpers (which I definitely don’t need but I’m also not complaining too much…)
Despite currently living in jumpers and jeans, for the sake of avoiding being too repetitive with my outfits I decided to give the jeans a break (albeit not for long I imagine) and pop on my favourite skirt of the winter. I’m genuinely surprised by how much I’ve worn this vinyl skirt as I didn’t think the vinyl trend was for me. Believe it or not, I wasn’t actually sure about whether I’d get much, if any, wear out of it but it just works with everything I own!
I’ve paired this skirt with both simple roll neck tops and thick knit jumpers like this one for a casual approach and love the way it comes together – there’s something about it that is so effortlessly stylish. By default I would associate a vinyl skirt with dressing up and going out but I haven’t even tried styling it for a night out and am rather enjoying dressing down this statement piece.
Of course I need to talk a bit about this jumper, I’m loving the fact stripes are making a comeback and these bold colours are super fun! I’ve spotted so many amazing striped knits recently and I just want them all! I have my eye on those rainbow tops everybody seems to be wearing right now. This jumper is New Look and I’m completely obsessed with the colour combo, there’s something really retro about it that I love. Available in four different colourways: pink (the one I’m wearing), red and blue, I tried two out of the three and decided on keeping the pink because I really loved the combination of colours.
One thing I love about experimenting with my style is the discoveries I make whilst doing so. This skirt and jumper combo is one I would probably steer clear of but I really love the combination of colours and textures. This outfit somehow manages to be stylish (at least in my opinion) and perfect for winter!
