Game-Changing Heist Nude Tights Article 5/5 (1)

Nude tights are having a moment. This week Meghan Markle was spotted at her first public engagement as a newlywed wearing a pair, adhering to the strict royal dress code of no-bare-legs. With plenty of summer weddings this year, I’ve been tempted to try the look but I’ve been apprehensive too and struggling to find the right pair.

From the moment the box arrived, I knew Heist tights would be different. It’s a treat to open their sandy pink box that feels luxe and smart. The tights come in a dust bag that I will be using again to stop any zips or heels catching on them as you pack and unpack for a weekend away. As you slither into them, they feel smooth and silky. There are two options of waistband – high at the waist and low to sit around the hips – I went for the high and the panel around the waist gives you just enough additional support to justify a lunch time pudding.

I wore Heist Nude on a hot summer’s day – all day – and never felt sticky. As the day turned to night I was thankful for a little leg warmth, and the flexibility meant I could dance all night without them rolling down or digging in at my waist. At 18-denier you almost forget you are wearing them – without a doubt the smoothest and most flattering tights I have ever worn.

New Obsession 4.5/5 (2)

Hello new jumper of dreams I simply can’t get enough of. It’s all about new knitwear for me at the moment, I’ve been loving filling my wardrobe with various different knits to keep me going throughout the cold spell. As much as I love wearing the fail-safe combo of a jumper and jeans, I must admit it’s starting to get a little boring! This has led to me buying countless jumpers (which I definitely don’t need but I’m also not complaining too much…)

Despite currently living in jumpers and jeans, for the sake of avoiding being too repetitive with my outfits I decided to give the jeans a break (albeit not for long I imagine) and pop on my favourite skirt of the winter. I’m genuinely surprised by how much I’ve worn this vinyl skirt as I didn’t think the vinyl trend was for me. Believe it or not, I wasn’t actually sure about whether I’d get much, if any, wear out of it but it just works with everything I own!

I’ve paired this skirt with both simple roll neck tops and thick knit jumpers like this one for a casual approach and love the way it comes together – there’s something about it that is so effortlessly stylish. By default I would associate a vinyl skirt with dressing up and going out but I haven’t even tried styling it for a night out and am rather enjoying dressing down this statement piece.

Of course I need to talk a bit about this jumper, I’m loving the fact stripes are making a comeback and these bold colours are super fun! I’ve spotted so many amazing striped knits recently and I just want them all! I have my eye on those rainbow tops everybody seems to be wearing right now. This jumper is New Look and I’m completely obsessed with the colour combo, there’s something really retro about it that I love. Available in four different colourways: pink (the one I’m wearing), red and blue, I tried two out of the three and decided on keeping the pink because I really loved the combination of colours.

One thing I love about experimenting with my style is the discoveries I make whilst doing so. This skirt and jumper combo is one I would probably steer clear of but I really love the combination of colours and textures. This outfit somehow manages to be stylish (at least in my opinion) and perfect for winter!

SoniPanda Reviews Adrian Secessions Wedding Collection 3/5 (1)

image image image image image image imageThank you to a lovely follower who gifted me these – one of the nicest I have to say and so patient as well! They have gifted me a few and have waited so patiently for me to review! So this week I’m making an effort to get through as much as poss!

My Outfit

Now bear in mind these are bridal tights and as my big day is coming up, it was only right to do a bridal-like look with these. I don’t get to wear white on my wedding day otherwise these would have been the ones!
I went with my white flowy dress (it’s so baggy without a belt) along with my white court shoes to finish the look. I know it’s not how a bride would actually look but then again I haven’t got the get up!!

The Review

So packaging was interesting – they had the cover and then you have to slide the box at the side to get the pair out. You can see the pair through a small circle peep hole at the bottom of the pack but it was dead cool. Maybe all bridal ones are as cool as these!

You’ll see them wrapped around the cardboard that show different types of styles (clearly the best selling ones!) Now getting them on you’ll notice the back and front easily. On both sides it’s stitched in stating the name Adrian and then you’ll see a small tag with a number on to show it’s the back of them.
Getting them on I had to use hosiery gloves just to be careul as these are pretty delicate. They’re so easily to roll on and perfectly fine over anklets too! You do have to tug them up a little as they don’t sit properly near the private areas so you may have to rejig a few times to make sure they sit alright. If you have them away from your private areas then well… No comment.
I do love how sheer these are – it’s between a 15-20 denier I can see with a heaver pattern on them. This carries on all the way to the waistband. The waistband itself is really good and sturdy too – didn’t budge as I walked and rolled around trying to get the right pose!!
They do have reinforced toes on these – you can tell as it’s a block denier before it turns into sheers.
The feel of them are so lovely – so soft and silky and so lovely to run your hands up and down on too! I do have to say they slipped in my shoes a little as the soles were slippy a tad so just be weary when wearing these.
I don’t think I have any downside to report when I had them on. I would just say be careful wearing them as I can see these snagging quite easily and it would be pretty visible depending on your skin tone under the tights.
Overall opinion? I think these are absolutely gorgeous and now i want to wear these to a wedding! There lovely and delicate looking adding that touch of feminine and innocence to the outfit!
